With the right kind of training, preparation and workplace accommodations, people with disabilities can have rewarding careers.
If you have a disability that makes it hard for you to get and keep a job, you may be eligible for a variety of counseling, training, job skills and job placement services.
Services vary according to individual needs. We work with you to determine which are most appropriate for you. Then you and your counselor develop a plan to help you reach your goals.

There are nearly 50 WorkForce Centers statewide. A workforce center may provide additional services based on the needs of the community they serve.

Eligibility is based on whether you have a physical or mental disability that makes it difficult to prepare for, get or keep work.
People who receive Supplemental Security Income or Social Security Disability Insurance benefits are presumed eligible for services.
Everything starts with a visit to one of our vocational rehabilitation counselors. Schedule an appointment with a counselor at a WorkForce Center near you. Call 1-800-328-9095.
Once you apply, it usually takes less than 60 days to determine whether you're eligible.
There is no fee for the services that we provide. However, people who can afford it may be required to pay for part or all of the additional services that we purchase for them.
