Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) Emergency Services can help families with a minor child or a pregnant woman to resolve an immediate crisis. This is a county program and allowable services, eligibility, and utilization policy vary from county to county. Counties and tribes have the flexibility to determine levels of funding for the primary services in MFIP, including whether or not to administer emergency services programs and at what funding level.
The program is available to families with a minor child or a pregnant woman, with income below 200% Federal Poverty Guideline (FPG). Contact your county or tribal office for information on other eligibility requirements.
