A group of people that meet on a regular basis to share their experiences and provide mutual support.


Additional Information

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.


The General Services Office supports local groups and publishes materials.

There are no age restrictions or education requirements.


Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.
