Description
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a program designed to enhance a person's monthly groceries and includes healthy and nutritious food products each month at no cost to eligible individuals over the age of 60.
CSFP participants receive a monthly food package containing the following items:
* Canned fruits and vegetables
* Nonfat dry and shelf stable low-fat milk and locally made American cheese from Bongards Creameries
* Canned meat, chicken or fish, peanut butter, and dry or canned beans
* Whole grains which include ready to eat breakfast cereal, rolled oats and brown rice
* 100% juice with no sugar added
