Description
This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence.
Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic violence education and prevention.
Additional Information
A community advocate can provide resources for domestic and sexual violence victims.
* Confidential and nonjudgmental support
* Create safety plans
* Help to write and file a restraining order or police report
* Attend court on behalf of or with a victim
* Assist to obtain public assistance, food, shelter and other basic needs
* Support groups
