Offers opportunities for people with disabilities to socialize and participate in activities
Additional Information
Provides year-round outdoor educational and recreational experiences for people of all ages with cognitive and developmental disabilities. It seeks to increase friendships with peers through experiential activities in a safe, fun environment.
Programs include:
* Environmental education - Experiences with nature
* Rendezvous - Monthly social, educational, physical, and recreational opportunities
* Day camps and overnight
* Family camping
* Outdoor events
* Fishing
* Picnic

Community-based day programs that provide training in community integration and self-advocacy specifically as they relate to recreation and leisure pursuits. Participants are generally adults age 18-22 with developmental disabilities who are still in school and desire an after-school program or are older than age 22 but are not working or are working part-time.
