The community services program at the Damiano Center provides information and referrals to people experiencing difficulty.

Their trained staff specialize in helping people find resources for emergency needs, including homelessness, chemical or mental health problems, abuse, or unemployment.

They may be able to provide:
* Bus tokens and gas vouchers are sometimes available; call first
* Personalized services to help homeless people to get connected with housing
* Use of free phone
* Individual advocacy to help meet your needs
* Referrals to other agencies

There is no cash assistance provided through this program. With proof of employment, current vehicle insurance, and driver's license, you can get a gas voucher once annually. With proof of employment, you can get a spend down bus pass once annually.

Tokens are first come, first served.

Household goods, including bedding, pots & pants, etc. can be provided to those with a current lease.

Additional services include hygiene items, mailboxes for people who are homeless, and direct services such as health services are scheduled occasionally - please call ahead for information.
