Description

The Donor Connect program connects donors of used medical equipment with local area veterans in need.


Disabled American Veterans does not pick up or store donated items. Rather the equipment will be maintained by the owner until the item is connected to a veteran with a specific need for that particular equipment. When a product is needed, the donor contact information will be provided and it becomes the responsibility of the requester to connect with the donor to set up an exchange time and place.


Accepted durable medical equipment:
* Aluminum Ramp
* Walkers, two and four wheel
* Lift recliner chair in working order, not soiled or worn
* Manual folding wheelchair with foot rest
* Patient body lift/Hoyer Lift
* Power scooter with good batteries in working order
* Power wheelchair with good batteries in working order
