Volunteers with interest and skills in providing transportation for older adults are needed.
Transportation requests must be received 48 hours in advance. Clients must be able to transfer themselves in and out of cars.
To receive services: Call Elder Network. A home intake visit required prior to service is provided.
To volunteer: Applications are available by calling the Rochester office or by download from the website.
Rochester: $10/one way, $12/round trip
Outside Rochester (in Olmsted County): $15/round trip

NEMT service providers are able to transport riders who require a wheelchair lift equipped vehicle with appropriate protective restraints or a van that is designed for gurney/stretcher transportation, or has other types of features to meet their safety needs.
