Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community
Provides rides for adults 55 and older who are temporary disabled and unable to drive themselves.
Riders must be:
* 55 or older
* Temporary disabled and unable to drive themselves
* Living within 20 miles of the East Bank campus at 500 Harvard St SE, Minneapolis
Riders are eligible for up to 6 rides per calendar year.
Rides should be scheduled 24 hours in advance by calling (612) 672-7685 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rides are available:
7:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday
7:00am - 3:30pm, Friday
All new riders must be screened by the On Call staff.
Rides cost $5 each way.
8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

Programs that provide transportation for medical appointments, trips from and between hospitals, to nursing homes or other special-care centers or for other non-emergency medical needs for individuals who, because of financial problems or their physical condition, are unable to use other means of local transportation. NEMT service providers are able to transport riders who require a wheelchair lift equipped vehicle with appropriate protective restraints or a van that is designed for gurney/stretcher transportation, or has other types of features to meet their safety needs.
