Program that works on behalf of individuals and/or groups to make sure that they receive the benefits and services for which they are eligible
Additional Information
Provides culturally sensitive, bilingual direct service to refugee and immigrant victims of general crime.
Connects clients to:
* Legal assistance
* Shelter
* Professional counseling and therapy
* Food, clothing, transportation, child care services
* Bilingual counseling and Intervention
* Assistance in filing for reparations
* Personal advocacy through the criminal justice system and/or medical system emergency financial assistance (for eligible clients)
This agency has Spanish, Somali, Bosnian, Vietnamese, and Arabic speaking staff in the office. IMAA also offers Language Services and able to support several other languages that are spoken in the community.
