Service Details


The Johnson O'Malley Program provides financial assistance to eligible students for educational opportunities.

Indian Education Committees are elected from parents or legal guardians of eligible Indian students. The purpose of the Parent Committee is to bring about the most effective Indian education program possible. To achieve this, the Indian Education Committee shall participate fully in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the program.


Students in one of the eight school districts on or near the Leech Lake Reservation who are:
* A member of a federally recognized tribe or be able to provide proof of 1/4 combined blood to qualify
* Three years old (by December 31) through grade 12

Tribal Enrollment Hours: 9:00am - 11:30am and 1:00pm - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
