About This Location

Ahnji Be Mah Diz (Ojibwe language meaning "change your way of life") is a six-bed halfway house located on the reservation and owned by the band.

It provides a sheltered live-in situation for chemically dependent men who want to live a life free of alcohol or any other mood altering chemical.

Program objectives are to guide, support, and encourage alcoholic/chemically dependent men coming from a primary treatment or hospital setting. The main focus is to help them find a comfortable balance physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, so that they can return to the community as a productive person.
