Emergency Shelters are for young adults experiencing homelessness or needing a safe place to stay. The shelters provide safe, short-term housing options while staff provide support and help youth in crisis access other community resources during their stay.

Such facilities usually provide in-house individual, group and family counseling and the full range of other secondary services related to runaways including referral to appropriate resources.
