Activities include:
* Public information and education about blindness
* Publications
* Handling Vision Loss in Minnesota - information about where to begin
* Training resources to teach what need to know and ask for help
* Advocate for persons who are blind, of all ages
* Local chapters throughout the state, as well as student and Seniors Division
* Scholarship program for blind college students
* Makes aids available such as white canes, talking clocks and calculators, watches, Braille slates, styluses and paper
