Description
Homemaker Services help with general household activities when a person is unable to manage the home, or when the person regularly responsible for these activities is temporarily absent or unable to manage the home.
Additional Information
Care Partner service offers affordable, non-medical care to older adults and their caregivers who need more assistance than volunteers can provide.
This program is available weekly and times are flexible. All Care Partners are paid staff who are trained and background checked.
Provides:
* Meal preparation
* Help with laundry
* Light housekeeping and basic cleaning
* Socialization and companionship
* Reminders to take medications or perform personal care tasks
* Respite for caregivers
* Assistance with mail
* Grocery shopping
About This Location
All licensed Homemaker services may provide:
* Help with routine household tasks and cleaning
* Monitoring safety and well-being
For people on the waivers or Alternative Care Program, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) or Home Management may be provided under the Homemaker service when providers have the appropriate level of licensure.
