Service Details
Description
Inspiring Opportunities Project brings together parents, youth, and professionals to help families identify the resources and supports that promote success and includes:
* Information and referral from parent advocates over the phone and in person to parents of children who have emotional or behavioral disorders
* Workshops on the rights and responsibilities of parents in mental health, health care and insurance, juvenile justice, education and other systems
* Develops parents as effective advocates for their children with mental health issues
* Develop strategies to support their children's mental health and behavioral needs at home, in school, and in the community
* Publications and handouts on a variety of topics related to children with emotional or behavioral disorders
* Information and referral for support groups
