Description

Coordinated activities are provided to students to teach the knowledge and skills needed for post-school activities. This can include such things as employment, further education and training, community experiences or living independently.

* Getting involved with and connect to your community

The National Parent Center on Transition and Employment provides information and resources to support families, youth, educators and employers as they help teens and young adults with disabilities transition into adulthood.

* Provides information about independent living, post-secondary education, job search and career skills
* Online videos for parents of youth on topics such as benefit programs, assistive technology, postsecondary supports, and finding work in the community
