Description

Responsible for investigating complaints of discrimination that have taken place within the City of Saint Paul.


The Human Rights Division is a neutral, fact-finding agency and does not represent either party in its investigations.


Human Rights Specialists conduct investigations based on complaints the division receives.


The division investigates complaints of discrimination based on:
* Race
* Color
* Religion
* Creed
* Age
* Disability
* Marital status
* Familial status
* Sex
* Sexual or affectional orientation
* National origin
* Ancestry
* Status with regard to public assistance


Eligibility

Any person alleging discrimination or different treatment as defined by the St. Paul Human Rights Ordinance Section 183 which has occurred within the city limits of St Paul within one year
