Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community
Additional Information
The Volunteer Driver Program offers rides to medical and dental appointments as well as personal appointments and to the senior dining program for persons age 60 and older
Rides are also provided to medical and dental appointment for clients on Medical Assistance, Blue Plus, Medica, South Country and UCare. Call the number on the back of the insurance card to set up a ride.

Eligibility
Rides are available to persons age 60 and over or qualified client.
Serves Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Steele, Waseca and Winona Counties.

Call to arrange a ride. A minimum 48 hour notice is recommended to request a ride.

Donation requests are based on a sliding fee scale according to income.

Programs that provide transportation for medical appointments, trips from and between hospitals, to nursing homes or other special-care centers or for other non-emergency medical needs for individuals who, because of financial problems or their physical condition, are unable to use other means of local transportation. NEMT service providers are able to transport riders who require a wheelchair lift equipped vehicle with appropriate protective restraints or a van that is designed for gurney/stretcher transportation, or has other types of features to meet their safety needs.
