Caregiver Community Gathering
The Caregiver Community Gathering is a caring peer group that will meet monthly in person for a time to share ideas and concerns, learn, practice self-care and develop a community of care in a safe space.
The session will conclude with breathing, stretching and meditation exercises.
The group is led by Katharine Tondra (St. Anthony Park Area Seniors program director) and Jean Bendt (St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church parish nurse). The breathing and meditation exercises will be led by Niza Hanany, the chair yoga leader from St. Anthony Park Area Seniors.
The group is co-sponsored by St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church and St. Anthony Park Area Seniors.
Caregiver Support Group
The Caregiver Support Group meets monthly to share joys and concerns, offer a safe space to be heard, share ideas and resources. The support group is held online, and is led by Katharine Tondra (St. Anthony Park Area Seniors).
Grief & Loss
This 8-session small group study is for those experiencing recent loss and looking to learn about the grief process and tools to move through it. The group will be using the secular curriculum, "Grief and Loss" written by Taylor Blanket, Licensed Master of Social Work.
This group study is led by Pastor Whitney Sheridan, Centennial United Methodist Church, and is sponsored by Centennial United Methodist Church and St. Anthony Park Area Seniors.

Caregiver Community Gathering
* Meets on the fourth Monday of every month from 11:00am - 12:00pm
* The group meets in the Fireside Room at St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church (2323 Como Ave.), beginning on February 27, 2023.
* No registration is required. Newcomers are always welcome.
* Participants need to be masked, vaccinated and socially distanced.

Caregiver Support Group
* Meets on the first Thursday of every month from 10:00am - 11:00am.
* This group is meeting online, and iPads are available to borrow.
* Sign up online to receive the link to the meeting, or call the office.
Grief & Loss Group
* Meets every other Thursday for eight sessions, from 11:15am - 12:30pm, beginning on February 29, 2024.
* Group meets at Centennial United Methodist Church-SAP campus (2200 Hillside Ave.)
* Registration is REQUIRED. Contact St. Anthony Park Area Seniors at (651) 642-9052 to register.
* All participants need to be masked, vaccinated, and socially distanced.
