Program provides training or work experience to individuals with disabilities or impairing health conditions to help them find a job and become economically independent

A state program that helps people with disabilities to prepare for, find, and keep employment

It can assist with reducing barriers to employment and advocacy between employee and employer to make sure that all reasonable accommodations are being met that fit a disability.

Services include:
* Assistance with counseling and advocacy
* Networking with other agencies, helping to coordinate services
* Independent learning and training options
* Referral for medical concerns
* Network with foster grandparent and senior companion programs
* Spiritual consultation

Supportive Services can include but are not limited to reducing the barriers to employment, secondary education or training, or in some occasions, home business supplies to get a business up and running. This program only assists with employment related items that will keep consumers working or maintaining gainful employment. Services can also include minor car repairs, gas, identification cards, lunch tickets, and clothing that is job specific.

Any individual who has a disability or mental health condition with a substantial barrier to employment, who can benefit from help to meet employment goals.

To qualify:
* Must reside on or near the boundaries of the White Earth Reservation
* Must be enrolled in a federally recognized tribe
* Must have a physical or mental impairment which results in a substantial impediment to employment
* Presumption that applicant can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services
