This program helps workers get back to work as quickly as possible after a lay off. If you have been laid off (or notified that a lay-off is coming) through no fault of your own, these free services prepare you to find a suitable new job.
Employment programs include:

Residents of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Kandiyohi, McLeod, Meeker, Mille Lacs, Pine, Renville, Sherburne, and Wright Counties who meet one of the follow requirements:
* Lost a job because of a plant/business closing or mass layoff
* Out of work through no fault of your own, be eligible for or have run out of unemployment insurance benefits and be unlikely to find work in your previous occupation.
* Formerly self-employed, including farming or ranching, and are unemployed because of the general economic conditions in your community
